Colin M. It's Wo Fat, live. What else needs to be said? Oh yeah, a bonus (and amazing) studio jam. Yes please! Favorite track: Sleep of the Black Lotus (live).

Frederick Jones I don't normally buy live albums on vinyl but then this is a great live album so I had to have it in my collection. This will sit proudly next to my other Wo Fat Vinyl. Favorite track: Sleep of the Black Lotus (live).
Ludwig thumbnail
Ludwig Had the luck to see them live in Germany. Great Band and music, long time that I bought a Live album but that is an amazing on. Riff masters at work at Freak Valley Festival. Can't stop listen. Favorite track: The Black Code (live).
Mortimer Potts

Mortimer Potts Mastering the fuzz live like few others can. It's a pure joy if you haven't had the chance of seeing them on stage, like me. Favorite track: The Black Code (live).
Sgorthy thumbnail
Sgorthy Really meaty doom. I need a bigger system. Favorite track: Dark Snow (bonus live studio jam).

Jeff Richards Excellent sound and tone, especially for a live album. My only complaint about the album is that it is so short. Another LP would have been awesome. Maybe next time! Favorite track: The Black Code (live).

Recorded live in Netphen, Germany at the 2014 Freak Valley Festival, Live Juju: Wo Fat at Freak Valley is Wo Fat’s sixth full length album and the first live album in their catalog. Their appearance at Freak Valley was one of the highlights of their very successful Texas Takeover European Tour and this record shows off the band’s brand of jazz-minded, psychedelic stoner metal live in action. Their synergy and, almost extra sensory communication between them while on stage is on display here as they rock and rage their way through their set featuring songs from 4 of their albums. Living on the edge is how Wo Fat likes to play it with their live shows, with improvisation and playing off of each other being integral to their groove, and this recording captures that special hour in time that took place as the clouds literally parted and the rain relented on what began as cold, wet day and turned into a beautiful sunny spring day in the German hills, May 30, 2014.

In keeping with their high standard of sonic quality, Wo Fat has decided to release this limited editionpressing of 500 on Direct Metal Mastered classic black vinyl and features amazing artwork from David Paul Seymour ( and a full color insert with photos from the festival. Purchase of the vinyl also comes with a download card for a download of the full album plus a previously unreleased extended live-in-the-studio bonus jam, Dark Snow.
